The American Heart Association (AHA) Friends and Family Training for First Aid and CPR/AED Course teaches students to effectively recognize and treat emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical services personnel arrive. The course also provides a complete health and safety training solution for first aid, adult, child and Infant CPR, and AED. Units include: First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, Environmental Emergencies, CPR and CED Certification. CPR/AED course is designed to teach students CPR for victims of all ages, use the automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of choking. Instruction is given on recognition of life-threatening emergencies and basic CPR techniques. It is available to anyone desiring, or required, to obtain the knowledge and skills taught at this level.
